With Blessings from the Bappa himself, the maiden effort of our Facebook group, to celebrate the Indian festivals online, is now more than a reality. Global Bappa has shaped up like an idol of celebration and is now a family of 1000+ members globally. Global Bappa is a phenomenon that has witnessed, cherished the happy saga from the member families and guests during festive celebrations like the Ganesha festival and Navratri. The humongous responses from the participants, members, guest’s, musical, dance fervor, and all this was enjoyed as one family.
Now the time was to wait for the Festival of Festivals — Diwali, of course. A 4-day long festival of events, backed by strong traditional background, sound rituals, and a great occasion to get along with your friends and family members.
Global Bappa family members were equipoised to showcase their Diwali celebrations. Lots of contests … like Shriman Shrimati, activities… like Fort/Killa making, Lantern making, Decorations, art and craft, cookery and cuisines, and all this woven with the traditional Indian fervor. Everything was excellently welcomed by our Global Bappa Members. Now it seems that Global Bappa is now a name to reckon with when it comes to celebrating our Indian festivals on a social platform. This has been also recognized by some overseas media houses like Dainik Bhaskar(Central India) . This time during Diwali, especially the young brigade of our Global Bappa Family members have proved their prowess and have showcased some mightiest and iconic forts which were built by them.
Every day and every hour of Diwali was getting celebrated on our Global Bappa group, Including the special importance to Laxmi Pooja, Bhau Beej or Bhai Duj, Padwa or Balipratipada, and Tulsi vivaah.
We also announced the winner of various contests who will receive their amazon vouchers in due course of time. With all said and done, still it feels like something is not yet over. I am pointing towards the unity with which we stood at our homes, we celebrated by following all the global norms related to the current pandemic. One thing for sure, that, with the range of festivals we all like to celebrate, Global Bappa is strongly putting its foot forward to support you, to get more close to our countrymen located globally and who have kept the light of Indianism ever shining in their hearts.
